OUR MISSION...
The Cultural Arts Council serves as a resource for the active promotion, coordination, and support of cultural arts activities in and for the Park Ridge community. This focus includes, but is not limited to, the visual arts, (e.g. painting, sculpture, photography) and the performing arts (e.g. theater, music, dance).
The Council Works To...
1) Expand and support a wide variety of year-round cultural activities.
2) Encourage the involvement of all age groups with the arts.
3) Seek and utilize the special talents and diverse cultural resources of our citizens in planning and programming cultural events.
4) Initiate and promote public and private sector cooperation to maximize the efficient use of resources to better serve the cultural arts activities in the community.
5) Encourage and support efforts of businesses and organizations to develop special cultural events.
6) Insure the availability and better use of existing facilities for the arts.
7) Provide support for qualified local cultural arts organizations, groups, and individuals.
8) Coordinate the communication of the schedule of cultural programs and events to the community.
9) Foster communication and cooperation among arts organizations.
